Varma Kalai/ Adi murai

Varma kalai (art of vital points) is the base of Adi murai and Vaasi yogham. The linage of which can be traced back to Sage Agasthyar.

The Southern way of practice is the oldest form coming from South Indian Dravidian tradition.

Practice begins with Chuvadu murai (solo practice and actuation) gradually progressing to Adi Thada freehand techniques, Ayudhamurai wooden weapons and metal weapons, vital knowledge and treatment follow this.

Through continual practice concentration, breath control, flexibility, body balance, stamina, speed accuracy,mental strength and alertness will be developed and continue to be refined as training continues. This will enable the student to progress to higher levels of practice and attainment.
